this is after i smashed everything upstairs , this is also the frame i'm goin to take out

cut a way bigger hole in roof for board delivery , there's no way to get the material up the stairs and for 60 euros more ....

this is how i staightened the roof with the jack from my truck , once new sister beam was jacked up level next to the warped exsitein beam , i jacked it up another 10 cms , almost completely straightenein  the roof

the roof windows in , i hope they don't leak ! , everybody says they leak , i'll ruff in the inside once it rains , 3 weeks and still no rain

we cut out the frame , reinforcing each beam one at az time , above JB you see the sistering of beam , he's got a piece of the frame in his hands

the last beam to reinforce , not all that heavy these roofs afterall

took this out , i'll be able to change the door to my room now , i have to raise the header , it's a 1.7 meters now and the doors 2 meters

the beam in the middle of this slop we added , there wasn't one here

i've got enough wood for my fireplace to last me 2 months , nuts hard to imagin all the wood we took out ....

the big beam on floor and two other ones , ther smaller ones in back i'll leave upstairs untill i raise the other slop , i'll build another fralme wth them , but thats if they accept my demand

i changed these two windows , don't have a picture of that yet , you can see my new chain saw also

everywere gets insulation , i insulated way more than we needed , figure that can't hurt the heatin bill

these last three pictures are the slop i'll be raisin when i get the buildin permit passed , that be next spring , takes a hell of a long time to get a permit from the buildin historic people

behind all this mess is the hole and hald rails , temporary hand rails for stairs

bug treated the floors sanded filled holes stained ....new windows here - both rooms got new street side windows when i put the cielin windows in - electrical ... the corner is what was left of the condembed chimenie  in axelles room ,

beginin of plaster n waxed walls , i coulered the plaster light yellow , i'll be coulourin the wax another , here the plaster isn't dry yet so you still see the joints , i might have to touch up certain spots , but this technique is what the old country people did , way cheaper than paint especially on new walls , and it has certian sound and humidity properties , that painted walls don't have , plaster even eats oders .......

coulored taping mud everywere on firstcoat tapping

tea spoon orange ocre natural colorin mixed with 2 liters terpintine and 100ml beeswax , and i paint over the plaster , this is how the old people here in france colored their walls , it's way cheap and the colors are super .... the plaster isn't sanded at all so along the plaster marks the orange really stan,ds out and in the smooth areas you don't see it all

the floors have 4 coats of liquide floor enamel .... next time i'm gonna sand and fill in the cracks better .... the upstairs floor was at one time full of wood worms , their dead now , i treated the floors again anyway , but , still need to prepare them better

today is zoeys bday , she gets a brand new room for her bday and she'll have a place  "really cool " like she says to have her bday party this weekend
